Bharachukki is the eastern of the two great cascades of the Shivanasamudra falls, where the Kaveri fans out over a broad rock face on the Kollegal (Chamarajanagar) side of the river.

It is fullest and most thunderous in and just after the monsoon, when coracle rides sometimes run at the base; its twin, Gaganachukki, faces it across the river in Mandya district.
