The Lakshminarasimha Temple at Nuggehalli is a three-shrined (trikuta) Hoysala temple of 1246 CE, built during the reign of King Vira Someshwara by a Hoysala general, Bommanna Dandanayaka.
On a star-shaped plan, it is prized for its crisply carved images — Keshava, Venugopala and Narasimha among them — attributed to master sculptors of the Hoysala school, and it sees far fewer visitors than Belur or Halebidu.
