Daria Daulat Bagh ("garden of the wealth of the sea") is Tipu Sultan’s summer palace, built in 1784 in the Indo-Islamic style entirely of teak, set in a formal garden at Srirangapatna. It now houses an ASI museum on Tipu and Hyder Ali.
Its walls and ceilings are covered in vivid murals and floral frescoes — most famously the Battle of Pollilur, in which Tipu’s forces defeated the British — alongside portraits, prints and relics of the period.
