The Pattabhirama Temple, near Kamalapura, is one of the largest and best-preserved temple complexes at Hampi, dedicated to Rama enthroned (Pattabhirama). It has a tall brick-and-stone gopuram, a spacious pillared mahamantapa and a colonnaded courtyard.
Set apart from the main ruin field, it sees far fewer visitors, which makes it a good place to take in the scale and plan of a Vijayanagara temple in peace.
